I see the flickering mostly when connected to the ground station and not armed, I’ve read that it could be related to sensor temperature.
Regarding the GPS problem, I think you are right, one of my data wires looks damaged, I’m waiting on parts to rebuild my drone and try again, I might also try redundant gps this time
