6000mW Amplified SiK Telemetry Radio 433MHz, which was originally 100mW

6000mW Bi-Directional Amplified SiK Telemetry Radio 433MHz, which was originally 100mW

RF PA’s power supply:
8.1V, 2500mW RF Power
12.3V, 6000mW RF Power
Must not exceed 3S Lipo (12.6V)

Be careful - almost every country on Earth has strict rules about how much power a transmitter can emit, particularly on bands like 433MHz where there are millions of small low power devices around.
Your amp may be good, but cheap Chinese units like this just amplified noise and were less effective than standard SiK radios.

a modern LORA radio at 100mw will probably still go further than that setup, SIK radios are about 15 years old now and was it wasn’t the best even when it was new. most 433 versions with usb use a USB chip with so much noise that they jam themselves.

This is an experiment, which looks like nobody did on SiK 433MHz Telemetry radio earlier,
how much power to be used in what country, it has to abide by the local regulations of that that country.

LoRa of much lower power will achive that range, no doubt about it but at much lower bandwidth.

It appears that 10mW is likely the legal unlicensed limit in your region.

I’m not aware of any civilized nation that would sanction unlicensed transmission at 6W!

the reason its not done is that it will be putting out a lot of noise, I highly doubt a GPS recevier will pick up anything while within a meter of that transmitter.

Closing this, as it is of little utility and violates law in many, if not most countries.
