Remrssi drops to zero. Power is set to 100mW on both sides.
Does that mean one of the radios is bad or can I do anything other than try other radios?
The first thing I would check/replace on these cheap units is the antenna.
They are known for having sub standard or faulty antenna.

I replaced teh antennas of all the sik Radios I have and made huge improvements in the RSSI. I also have a special 10dB antenna on the tx side which I place 3m away from the computer
what kind of antenna do you use on the rx side?
