3DR Radio Wireless Telemetry Kit no COM port

I have a 3DR Radio Wireless Telemetry Kit and I can’t figure how to connect to it. It is not listed as a COM port but is instead listed under Other Devices as a CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller. How can I connect?

It seem that there is an driver issue. Install CP2102 usb driver, replug/reboot the PC, and try again.

Thanks for the quick reply. I downloaded and installed from here https://www.silabs.com/developer-tools/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers, restarted and the device now shows in COM5. However, I cannot connect. Here is the error message:

Timeout waiting for autoscan/no mavlink device connected

When I look at the drive in Device Manager, it shows 9600 baud. I tried that with no success as it times out. I get the message No Heartbeat Packets received: I tried changing the device driver and the connection pull-down menu in MP to 57600 and 115200 without success. Any additional help will be greatly appreciated. I am using TX4/RX4 on a MATEK F450TE. I cannot change any settings in SiK Radio - it tells Failure to enter command mode. Try power-cycling the modem.

Hope it helps!

Thanks! Unfortunately, the SiK window has all input fields greyed out. It is as if MP does not recognize the Telemetry module. After some more research, it seems there are some counterfeit modules around and I’m returning the one I bought from Amazon and ordered a module directly from DR.
