3DR Guys... Need Some Help With My Safety Switch

I had a little mishap tonight and broke my safety switch. The wires are still good, but the switch body itself is shattered.

I’ve re-ordered another switch (Order number: #R657778075), but it says the switch is backordered.

Tomorrow is my do-or-die day. I go back on the road Wednesday-Friday and won’t get to play with my design.

The connector is still good. The wires are still good. I’ve got plenty of momentary switches available here at home. Could you give me the connector pin-out for that switch so I could rig something up in the meantime?

Thank you in advance,

Brian

I can tell you from testing the switch that pressing the switch connects pin 1 and pin 3 together. The other pin has to be the LED… this is confirmed by the schematic: pixhawk.org/_media/modules/px4fm … ematic.pdf there’s a 1.5k pulldown resistor that pulls pin 3 low, and when you press the button it is pulled high.

Perfect – thank you
