3DR Bluetooth and 3DR v2 Radio

Hi

I’ve ordered the https://store.3drobotics.com/products/bluetooth-data-link to use on the PixHawk.

At the same time I’ve also ordered the https://store.3drobotics.com/products/telemetry-slash-osd-y-cable-adapter-cable-for-apm-2-dot-5-6

My intention is to have both the Bluetooth and the 3DR Radio v2 connected and working from the same port (Telemetry 1).

I have other equipment connected on the Telemetry 2 port and I don’t want to mess with that.

Any thing I’m missing from my planned setup?

TIA

No, I’m afraid each telemetry unit needs its own port. You can’t share them (since the autopilot won’t know which one is talking to it on that port)

I understand that concern, but from what you’re saying wouldn’t the same issue happen even if each (Bluetooth and Radio) are on different ports?

On the other hand if they share the same port it would be irrelevant which would send commands, because, I might be wrong, the APM has no provision to distinguish between different Ground Control Stations. On the APM side the PixHawk would only see a command coming from that port.
