2025 lawnmower build

Kicking around an idea to make an (almost) completely open hardware lawnmower.

Looking at

WITMOTION RTK GNSS/INS Module UM982/UM980 ZED-F9P High-precision Centi – WitMotion ShenZhen CO.,LTD (not open but $100 cheaper than alternative)

I appreciate it would be a pretty complex project…

Path planning on the Beagle, openmower or similar

MavROS UART comms from the Beagle > Ardupilot STMxx

Canbus from Ardupilot STMxx > ESP32 Motor drivers (running UAVCAN)

Has anyone done anything similar with hardware released in the last couple of years?
