2.5 X or Y for deadcat style frame

Hi Guys

Prob a newb question… I have a hobbyking deadcat frame and am having issues with the yaw. It pitches forward when i put rudder in…

I have selected the frame type Y under the quad style (not the tricopter setup one) in the wizard as it looks like the frame, BUT is this right or should i be using standard X config?

Pick the V Frame

Yeah that’s what I did pick, guess I’ll need to look at pid settings as I’m getting pitch forward with yaw movement…

Did you ever figure this out? I have the same behavior with my deadcat frame. Forward pitch sends it to the right, backward sends it to the left. My horizon view from mission planner looks good and my compass & gps look ok.
