Building a quad in the U.S. has been problematic especially considering the added cost of ordering parts from China due to tariffs. I recently built a quad with a Holybro Pixhawk 6C controller and needed a GPS/compass module. I ordered one from Holybro and ended up paying $56.80 import tax in addition to the $80 price plus $21 shipping (ouch!)!
I also needed a pair of SIK V3 telemetry radios, which I thought I ordered but somehow didn’t. Anyway, DHL informed me of the import tax I had to pay for the module and it arrived a day later. Then I received another notice from DHL wanting me to pay another import tax. Turns out that Holybro sent me a second module! The cost of returning is prohibitive and besides I have paid the tariff on an item I don’t need.
So, if you live in America and need a 10 pin GPS for your 6C f,c. then I will sell it to you for $60 plus shipping. It is brand new and still in the box.
