I want to use a dc to dc stepup converter to run my camera in a plane with a pixhawk.
Will these modules interfere with my pixhawk? How close together can they be? Any one doing this wtih some advice?

The simple answer is, go for it. I am using and have used many over the years without any problems. I have used commercial ones, ones from China, and homemade ones. Of course,some may be worse than others, I keep as much distance as reasonable from the flight controller.
Don’t forget to re-calibrate your compass and run CompassMot after you modify your wiring.
