Usb connection apm 2.6/8

hi i’m new here. i have an apm 2.6 or 2.8 installed apm planner2 and mission planner. both latest versions
but the pc does not recognise the apm.
try to find usb drivers but did not find any.
does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Mission Planner comes with a driver folder inside it with installers I believe.

Hans any luck finding the usb driver for new install of your mission planer as I’m having the same issue.

any assist would be appreciated

install arduino https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software. I was facing the same issue and it fixed my problem
