I’m going to do some large surveys with a QuadPlane that will require a battery change during the mission. If I pause a mission and then RTL to bring it back for the battery change, will the ‘Resume’ option work correctly in doing a VTOL takeoff and transition back to the point where the mission was paused? I’m not clear on if the Resume is QuadPlane aware or not given that the takeoff command needs to be for a VTOL takeoff rather than a plane or copter takeoff. TIA
I’m not familiar with a resume option, but I have cancelled missions by changing flight mode and then switched back to auto and it resumes where it left off. The only times it resets that I’ve found is reboot, complete the mission, or use the chan7/8 auto mission reset. As long as you don’t power it off during the change, you should be fine, but I think you’ll have to manually take off.
Ok I see the resume option you speak of. If MIS_RESTART is 0, it will behave as I stated.
