I used Pixhawk 2.1 with firmware 3.5 RC7. Although EKF bar full red (Mission Planner, test with compass near metal), but the OLED LCD status EKF always show is OK.

That looks like the banggood link. But you can also get it on Aliexpress or any other source
These work with Pixhawk 1…
this one is out of stock on banggood and aliexpress is too slow to spain so I went for a color led one …seems to work too on pixhawk 2.1 … thanks again

Thanks for the report, I’ve confirmed this is a real issue and raised a to-do here: https://github.com/ArduPilot/ardupilot/issues/6352
My guess is that the “EKF:ok” is connected to the EKF failsafe which is probably not the correct behaviour because we don’t allow EKF failsafes to trigger while the vehicle is disarmed so it will always show “ok”.
