Change flight modes over the keyboard keys or keyboard shortcuts

Hello friends,
Is it possible to change flight modes over the keyboard keys or keyboard shortcuts.
Through the mission planner we can change modes by mouse clicking but control flight modes by keyboard shortcuts is very convenient for flight.
Please guide if that possible.

No, I don’t believe this is supported in Mission Planner. It seems like a useful thing, so if you want to see it happen in the future, create a request to the developer(s) using a GitHub issue.

Sir,

Thanks for your reply, according to your guideline I created a request to the developer(s) using a GitHub issue.

Thanks Sir

I received following reply from GitHub.

Hi Yogesh,

I’m sorry, but you’ve reached Support for GitHub. It sounds like you may have been looking for support for a specific project that is hosted on GitHub.

We didn’t build that project, so we’re not able to support it. There are a few places we suggest you look when you need help with a project hosted on GitHub:

its SUPPORT or README file, which may include contact information or an official website
its Issues tab, where you can report bugs
the owner’s GitHub profile, which may include contact information
Of course, do let us know if you have any questions about GitHub itself!

Thanks,
GitHub Staff

Following is my email to GitHub

Dear Sir,

With reference to Mission Planner Ground Control Station.

We wish that, we should change flight modes over the keyboard keys or keyboard shortcuts in Mission Planner.

Through the mission planner we can change modes by mouse clicking but control flight modes by keyboard shortcuts is very convenient for flight more specifically if we use USB Joystick and for less channel transmitter.

This is request to developer team, that Please point out this requirement for next version.

I look forward to receive your positive reply soon.

Regards,

Yogesh Sonar

Sir can you suggest any other way to reach with developer team.

Please guide.

Create an issue here: https://github.com/ArduPilot/MissionPlanner/issues

@hunt0r makes a good suggestion. The other thing to do is discuss it here: https://gitter.im/ArduPilot/MissionPlanner
If you are up for a bit of a challenge, you could look at writing a python script to do this as well: http://ardupilot.org/planner/docs/using-python-scripts-in-mission-planner.html (this would be cool: I’m sure others would appreciate it!).

Sir,
Sorry for late reply, sir I create issue through a link which is provided by you, let see what will happen in future.
Thanks sir !

Sir,

Thanks for your suggestion, now I have created issue on GitHub. Sir I am not familiar with writing Python script, but my team member started learning Python programing, I will definitely suggest your suggestion to them.

Thanks Sir
