I am using Rover 3.1.2 with skid steering. It works well with the RC controller, but it fails to reach way points autonomously.
The compass is preforming well and it has a good GPS fix, but it does not drive to the specified point. When given a point in front of it it consistently drives backwards and turns slightly for about 10 seconds, then it stops and starts rocking back and forth.
Try driving the rover in STEERING mode and see what happens. that mode uses the same code as the autopilot code so if you find problems in STEERING mode they can be easier to diagnose and fix.
